CALGARY, Alberta --- January 12, 2010 --- SMART Technologies announces the release of version 10.6 of SMART Notebook collaborative learning software. The award-winning software now offers full support for the Microsoft Windows 7 and Macintosh Snow Leopard operating systems, ensuring compatibility with the latest operating systems, and more digital resources and features to enhance lesson activities. Among the new resources is an innovative transparent SMART Notebook feature. This enables them to annotate over any image, web page or application. SMART Notebook 10.6 also supports a total of five languages for the Mac operating system and 48 languages for the Windows operating system. SMART Notebook version 10.6 will be available for download in late January at no additional cost to licensed users of SMART Notebook.
